Located in Washington’s beautiful Harbor District, just a block from the waterfront and within walking distance to shopping and dining, the Civic Center offers every size space to fit your needs, from banquet halls and performance spaces to meeting rooms and classrooms. Of course, the entire facility is covered by fast free WiFi.
Your attendees will have no problem finding the Civic Center–we’re right off 17, in downtown Washington, and we offer enough free and accessible parking to accommodate even the largest groups. If your event lasts over several days, you can choose from the many hotels within a two and a half mile radius of the Civic Center, including Hampton Inn, Comfort Inn, Quality Inn, and a Days Inn, not to mention several lovely bed & breakfasts.
When it’s time to eat, we’ve got you covered there, too. We can provide any meal your event needs, using your choice of local restaurants or caterers. If you prefer to eat in a restaurant, we have lots of dining within walking distance of the Civic Center. Restaurants like The Meeting Place, Pia’s, Down on Main Street, The Pirate’s Pub, and Famous Bill’s Hot Dogs offer a range of food and atmosphere that are sure to satisfy whatever you’re looking for in a dining experience.
